TAKE A TOUR OF THE SHIP IN CAPE TOWN During her stay in Cape Town the crew of Phoenicia are opening up the decks for visitors who would like a tour of this fascinating replica 600 BC vessel. Groups who have enjoyed tours over the last week include the British Ambassador, The Indonesian Embassy staff, a local primary school and archaeological group as well as many individual tourists and local enthusiasts. YOUR INVITATION TO THE "PHOENICIAN EVENING" On Thursday 18th March the Royal Cape Yacht Club in Cape Town will feature a "Phoenician Evening" to celebrate the half way point of the voyage with the crew of Phoenicia who are recreating Pharaoh Necho's voyage of 600 BC.
